Right here Andrew. I love getting more reckless/feckless on it, trick is to push the body not break it. As for the mind, that’s been off the hook for yrs 😄 … best bro, chur 😎

You blow me away Baz my 10 junior. I laughed so much! Your Mr Wig....story! You must write a book.

Gordon is amazing my carer now. He is 79 very deaf I believe his new hearing aides are crap but he's happy with them. He can now hear birds and kids at the daycare 2 houses away. My husband blames me! 🤣 his young brother 13 years younger doesn't contact him except birthdays now because of his deafness! I have pretty much 95 % hearing I am blessed.

I got Sepsis in 4 different places in June 25 it was horrid and I was in Hospital 4 times until November. The illness caused close to death 4 times weight and muscle loss grappling still but I have gained weight since Dec 48 kg lowest to 56.5 today. Strength improvement but my arms are still not strong enough to drive. I was dismissed by a practice nurse who wouldn't further treat me because she believed that I was ok and my infection from a mistaken cat scratch has healed by the first initial antibiotics. I had the redest swollen foot but because my bp and temperature were normal she sent me home untreated. My antirejection meds mask all that!

11 days later I couldn't walk everything shut down.

By care of the amazing drs team they saved me from Dialysis at Waikato Hospital on 4 visits to hospital.

I believe that it wasn't my time.

I lodged my case to Acc. At first last Friday they said no! I spent 2 days being totally p'd, then onTues this week I get another letter saying they put it down to the UTI that attacked my transplant kidney (Gordon's 7 years ago ) that I got in those 11 days after being untreated. No gp check or bloods done. Its been put with my original Claim accepted prior to 2015 as a consequencecial to Kidney failure. From the event of 1976 with Nathan was a 7 week ago. Hes 50 in July. A dp now at Ridgeway School in Wellington. Melanie and Phil are coming home to NZ for Christmas so that's pretty exciting.

As I can go for drives in the car with Gordon for a change of my house walls and Netflix 🤣

I do textile art belonging to a monthly group meeting, I stagger on in. Gordon lifts my bags in and drives me door to door. The art pieces we do, are exhibited locally, with a price for not for sale. I am blessed with my art form now, moved from fresh florals to art with the Bernina sewing machine, silk threads, all sorts of whatever. Dye lots of fabric too.

I will pass on your latest for Gordon to appreciate and laugh. Cheers Phillipa.

Our Ireland grandaughter is off to Dublin University in August 27 to do Fine Arts. An artist already on Instagram purpliefish. Issy or Isabelle Harris..

Wow Phillipa, that’s some journey, holy hell - sending much love to you two, Gordon remains a huge inspiration to me, best tchr ever, I tried being him when I was teaching. And I remember Bruce n’ I would visit when U two were young married couple and we were at Uni and we’d watch the footy together over a crate of beer n’ then he’d fry up a bunch of sausages so we didn’t drive the Cortina home drunk.

Young at heart always Phillipa, even when the body throws us curve balls - gotta come visit when I’m in the Tron again xxx
