This weeks news of moving the homeless on constantly and fining them insane figures in a relentless loop of hopelessness saddened me.
Now I no longer have Foxy I miss my homeless friends who would pop by for a cuppa and a sarnie on the house of course , but like Mick, all whilst keeping their mana .
The Social injustice grows on, I hear the Hospo businesses want them off their patch like the plonker in the big ol camper van.
BE NICE give a little and watch them move on with a skip in their step.
I had a Tim, who started off stealing a biscuit from me. I said have a seat, gave him a sandwich and a coffee asked him to please not steal, just ask or give me the nod. He came back regularly for years, we never really spoke, I didn’t hear his story, like Mick too painful I suspect.
Then he disappeared for months. Turned up clean shaven hair cut and a new set of clothes with a beaming smile.
At first I didn’t recognise him. ‘Mam it’s Tim, I got my shit together!’
I was so excited for him it made my heart sing. We shared a cup of coffee a proud yarn and off he went and I’ve never seen him again.
I have a friend who is a Buddhist nun. She lives on charity everywhere she goes. Perhaps we could see this as a new religion/habit/routine/lifeway … like Christianity was supposed to be… with kindness and giving at the centre, and no expectations of anything other than doing what is good.
Man...this really hits. I go camping with the fam often and sometimes we wonder what's the story behind some tents that look like they have been forever there and, as you say, pass right through it blinded by our own trivialities. En fin... great read and lots to think about for me.
Fabulous ... love this very real story! Thanks...
Morena, much love your way Yvonne 🤗

Chur sister, hoping all is well in your fab world too xxx
